Refund and Returns Policy

Kansas Medical Training College (“KMTC”) follows the refund requirements for private postsecondary institutions in the State of Kansas. This policy explains when and how tuition and fees are refunded if you cancel or withdraw from a program. It applies to enrollments made through kansasmtc.com and in person.

Your right to cancel

You may withdraw in writing within three (3) days after signing your enrollment agreement and making an initial payment. If you cancel within this period, all monies you have paid will be refunded.

Refunds after a program begins

Each student who has completed 25% or less of a course and withdraws is eligible for a pro rata refund. The completion percentage is based on the total number of calendar days in the course and the total number of calendar days completed at the time of withdrawal. After a student has attended at least 25% of the course, tuition and fees are not refundable.

How refunds are issued

All monies due to a student are refunded within 60 days from the last day of attendance, or within 60 days from the receipt of payment if payment is received after the student’s last date of attendance. Where possible, refunds are returned to the original payment method.

Cancelled or postponed start dates

KMTC reserves the right to cancel or postpone a scheduled class start, for example when enrollment is insufficient or when inclement weather or directives from local or state authorities require it. If a class is cancelled or postponed and you choose not to move to a different start date, you are eligible for a full refund.

Course materials and supplies

Required supplies such as scrubs, a gait belt, non-skid shoes, and a watch are purchased separately by students from outside suppliers and are not sold or returnable through KMTC. Third-party costs such as background checks, drug screens, CPR or BLS courses, and certification exam fees are paid to outside providers and are subject to those providers’ own policies. Digital course materials and portal access are non-returnable once access has been granted.
